Steve Morgan

Steve joined the team at Financial Independence in September 2011 after a 25-year banking career. His banking roles included Mobile Mortgage Manager and Business Banking Manager, giving him huge insight into all the options and places from which clients can buy insurance. He now enjoys the freedom that being independent gives him to choose the ‘best’ place for his clients to be insured.

Beyond personal insurance policies, Steve specialises in Business Risk policies - including Shareholder and Business Continuation covers - as well as Employer-Subsidised Life and Medical plans for their employees.

Steve listens carefully to his clients’ needs, then works with them to put the right policies in place. He feels that it’s important for clients to have ownership of their own insurance plan. He likes to imagine that if the worst should happen, he will turn out to be your ‘financial saviour’ so you do not have to rely on the support of others.

Qualifications:

• Certificate in Business Insurance 2013

• Level 5 Stratigi Institute in Business Insurance 2014

• Level 5 - New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services

• Industry accreditations in personal insurance.
