In 2016 we started a new philosophy in our team where we changed all of our advisers from commission to salary.  We decided, just because something had been one way for a long time, does not mean that it has to stay that way. We also loved the idea that our advisers would not have to think about money and our clients did not have to worry about the adviser's motivation. Win-Win.

We are one of the largest insurance brokerages in the Bay, and because of that, we are able to have support staff such as a claims team and manager that will help you when you really need it. It’s our advice, but it’s your decision. At Financial Independence we all work with a ‘no pressure’ sales philosophy. It is important to us as a company to always do the very best for our clients. We pride ourselves on giving excellent advice and then allowing you to make your own decision. We think of ourselves as being in the ‘service industry’ as opposed to the ‘sales industry’, which makes us different.
