For example, if you are overweight you may struggle to get insurance, or your premium may be higher than someone whose weight is at a manageable level. Smoking is another example where a smoker can pay almost double the insurance premium than a non-smoker.
These are both things you can control the outcome of. Personal Insurance is only there as a backstop.

Pilates
What is Pilates? Pilates uses specifically designed equipment and floor exercises to stretch and strengthen the muscles to create a long, lean body. Pilates promotes a uniform development of the body by allowing weaker muscles to develop instead of the body continuously relying on the stronger muscles to do the work. Pilates focuses on the core muscles first, specifically stomach, butt and back, in a sense, working the muscles from the inside out.
The fundamental principles focus on balance, concentration, control, centered awareness, fluid movements, and breath. Pilates enhances a core strength that increases flexibility, coordination and spacial awareness
Reformer Pilates Reformer Pilates is performed on a reformer. The reformer will provide you with a passive and controlled resistance where benefits are achieved through body alignment, breathing and precision of movement. The smooth and flowing movements require concentration and muscle control which work to tone, lengthen and strengthen muscles without building a bulky body.
Mat Pilates Mat Pilates is a series of floor based exercises that will challenge all students, from beginners to advanced. Mat classes are a great option for beginners because of its emphasis on learning how to control your muscles during exercises. At Bodysense, we structure each mat class to be suitable for beginners and yet challenging enough for our advanced students.
